Jon Lock

Jon is the writer and creator of the long-running comic series Afterlife Inc., and the all-ages, scientific webcomic Zoolog. As one fourth of Big Punch Studios, he was also the lead writer on Extraversal and co-creator of the hit card game Sandwich Masters. After a decade in the indie comic community, he's hoping to give a little back with Ace of None.

Nich Angell

Nich is an illustrator and comic artist responsible for creating 7STRING, Cat and Meringue and Colostle, and one fourth of Big Punch Studios. He loves world-building, especially high concept stuff in fantasy and sci-fi universes. Nich also loves retro handheld video games and is learning to ride a unicycle... slowly.

Will Tempest

Will Tempest is a UK-based illustrator and comic artist whose credits include Zero and Material for Image Comics. He has also worked on a number of self-published titles, including Larval State, and is currently working on an ongoing science fiction story called Harsh Prospect.

Kit Palmer

Kit is an illustrator and writer who lives in Edinburgh with his tiny dog, Pocket. Kit met the Big Punch gang at a comic convention in 2017, where they enchanted him into servitude via dark magics.

Rosie Packwood

Rosie (The Incredible Bun, Blinker) can be found in the wilds of Suffolk, England. When not making comics, she is usually seen dangling upside-down from bouldering walls. Anita Zaramella

Anita has been active in webcomics since 2012. She has a fine art education but mostly enjoys telling stories in an easy-to-read way. Her work includes educational comics, graphic journalism and just fun stuff. Anita is currently illustrating 157 - Isole e Persone, and curating Racconti del Poeta, a comic anthology of Edgar Allan Poe's work.

Jack is a creative artworker and illustrator based in Bolton. He has been a frequent collaborator with Big Punch Studios for many years. He enjoys reading horror comics and painting toy soldiers.

Ben Haith-Bedford

Ben is a comic creator and illustrator based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. His current projects include the comedy fantasy Stormhaven Techs and being a new dad. He is very tired.

 
 
 

Sarah Millman

Sarah (or Milmo) is a writer and comics artist from Wales. Her current project is NPC Tea, a series about a tea shop run by orcs, elves and other fantasy creatures in modern-day Cardiff. Her clients include Rebellion, The Beano, Big Punch Studios, Time Bomb Comics and Kookie Magazine. She's also worked in the games industry as an artist and writer.

James Lawrence

James is a Leeds-based cartoonist and the perpetrator of the award-nominated Lucha Libre fantasy webcomic The Legend of La Mariposa.

 
 
 

Feff Silvers

Feff is a self-taught creator who makes comics and whimsical mixed-media illustrations. She enjoys creating down-to-earth urban fantasy comics starring women of colour, with heavy influences from the magical girl series she grew up with, mixed with her obsession for tabletop RPGs, phantasmagoria, esoteric groups, and early religion.

Katherine Hemmings

Katherine is a budding comic artist from the West Midlands who was a part of the Comic Creative Catalyst project in 2018. She released Being Ginger, her first diary comic book in 2019 and is currently working on a number of short stories. If Katherine could spend the rest of her life in a cabin in the woods surrounded by squirrels she would die happy.

Jade is a tea-loving artist from England. She studied Game Art and Design, and specialises in fantasy art and character design. She mostly draws things to do with Dungeons and Dragons, and various other TTRPGs. When not drawing, Jade is usually playing video games or taking a nap.

From the early days of anime in the UK (Anime UK Magazine) to games development (Rare), Wil has been lucky enough to make a living drawing the silly pictures he always dreamt of doing as a kid. In his spare time he fights off Imposter Syndrome by staring at old video game boxes and convincing himself (and his wife) that buying toys is purely 'research'.

Gavin is the artist for the Fighting Fantasy graphic novel The Trolltooth Wars, and Santa Claus vs The Nazis, and the co-creator of the comedy detective Spatchcock. Gavin lives in south Wales with his wife, Emily, and surrogate child, Boo the dog.

August is a trans illustrator and comic artist based just outside of Edinburgh. They love mixing intricate linework with expressively floaty watercolours. Fun fact: August lives with eight rats, all of whom eat better than August does!
